Professor, Director of Performing Arts Management
I am an arts administrator, educator, theatrical producer, consultant and attorney. A professor at DePaul University since 2003, I direct the Performing Arts Management Program in the School of Music and head the MFA/Arts Leadership Program in the Theatre School.
Previously, I was Director and Adjunct Professor of the MBA Arts Management Program at Roosevelt University, founding Executive Director for the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, Executive/Managing Director of many Chicago-area arts organizations including Court Theatre at the University of Chicago, Apple Tree Theatre, Pegasus Players, Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace and Halsted Theatre Centre. As a producer of special events, I produced the annual Serendipity: Celebrating Chicago's Seniors on Stage at the historic Chicago Theatre for the City of Chicago, the League of Chicago Theatres' SHOWTIME 2002!, Not Just Song and Dance for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, several Joseph Jefferson Awards ceremonies, among others.
